American Fusion™ Inc. (OTCQB: AMFN) Expands Intellectual Property Portfolio to 130 U.S. Patent Applications and Provides National Stock Exchange Uplisting and Capital Markets Update

SOUTHLAKE, TexasSept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — American Fusion™ Inc. (OTCQB: AMFN) (“American Fusion™” or the “Company”), developer of the proprietary Texatron™ Fusion Engine™, reported the filing of 30 additional U.S. patent applications, expanding the Company’s intellectual property portfolio to 130 pending U.S. patent applications.

The latest filings follow American Fusion™’s August 24 announcement that the Company had reached the milestone of 100 pending U.S. patent applications and represent continued execution of a broader intellectual property strategy designed to protect the Texatron™ platform across multiple system architectures, configurations and component designs.

The 30 applications focus principally on additional configurations involving aluminum fusion-confinement structures, clamshell and unitary housings, toroidal interior chambers, rifled chamber geometries, conductive center components and rings, electrical connectivity between confinement structures, fuel-injection configurations utilizing helium-3 and deuterium, and electronic control systems designed to manage pulses of electrical energy within the Texatron™ architecture.

American Fusion™ has previously established an objective of filing more than 260 U.S. patent applications by the end of 2026. With 130 applications now filed, the Company has reached approximately half of that objective while continuing to expand the scope of its intellectual property portfolio alongside the ongoing engineering and validation of the Texatron™ platform.

National Exchange Uplisting and Capital Markets Update

American Fusion™ also reported that it is advancing its evaluation and preparation for a potential uplisting of the Company’s common stock from the OTCQB Venture Market to a national securities exchange.

The Company and its securities and capital markets advisors are currently evaluating potential uplisting pathways involving both the Texas Stock Exchange (“TXSE”) and the Nasdaq Stock Market (“Nasdaq”). American Fusion™ has begun discussions regarding the applicable listing requirements and processes for both exchanges and intends to make a final determination regarding the exchange it believes provides the optimal long-term platform for the Company and its shareholders.

Based upon its current evaluation, the Company is presently leaning toward TXSE as its preferred potential listing venue. American Fusion™ is headquartered in Texas, and the Company believes TXSE could provide a compelling long-term market for its common stock as the newly established national securities exchange develops its issuer and investor base. The Company will, however, continue evaluating both TXSE and Nasdaq before making a final determination.

American Fusion™ is reviewing the applicable initial listing standards, including market capitalization, minimum bid price, publicly held shares, public float, shareholder distribution and corporate governance requirements, as well as the corporate and capital markets actions that may be necessary to satisfy the applicable standards. Any potential uplisting remains subject to satisfaction of all applicable listing requirements, completion of the applicable exchange review process and approval by the selected exchange.

As part of this process, the Company has also received several financing term sheets from various funds contemplating potential capital to support a national-exchange uplisting and provide additional funding intended to accelerate commercialization of the Texatron™ platform. The Company is evaluating these proposals together with other potential financing alternatives. No definitive financing agreement has been executed, and there can be no assurance that any proposed financing will be completed or, if completed, on what terms.

Nelson commented: “Our advancement to OTCQB was an important step, but our capital markets strategy has always contemplated ultimately moving American Fusion™ to a national securities exchange.
