The Company was formed through the merger of Renewal Fuels, Inc. with Kepler Fusion™ Technologies, creating a next-generation fusion energy platform. That merger unified public market access with deep scientific innovation, creating a single platform designed to commercialize fusion energy at an industrial scale.
At the core of American Fusion™’s strategy is the Texatron™, a compact aneutronic fusion system engineered not as a laboratory experiment, but as a deployable energy infrastructure. The system is designed for modular deployment across data centers, industrial facilities, and grid-constrained environments, with a focus on continuous baseload power and minimal radioactive waste.
The Texatron™ platform was developed by Dr. John E. Brandenburg, one of the most experienced plasma physicists in the field.
With over four decades of work across institutions, including national laboratories and aerospace programs, Dr. Brandenburg has spent his career working at the frontier of fusion physics, propulsion systems, and applied plasma science.
At Kepler Fusion™ Technologies, he served as the lead scientist and technology architect behind the Texatron™, advancing its core concepts from theoretical physics into a practical, engineered system. His work has focused on plasma confinement, direct energy conversion, and building a pathway toward commercially viable fusion power.

He has extensive experience adapting to new challenges in technology and law and has supervised highly successful teams in software development and legal representation. He was the Tech-team leader of the 4th online banking system in the world, Bank One, 1996-1998. Michael also has U.S. Supreme Court Experience: Co-counsel in Ali v. Federal Bureau of Prisons (No. 06-9130, 2008).

An independent director and strategic advisor, Mr. Gerdin brings approximately nearly three decades of experience in international finance, financial structuring, and cross-border advisory work spanning Europe, Asia, and North America. Over the course of his career he has worked with emerging growth companies, institutional investors, family offices, and private banking clients, and has advised on capital formation and financial structuring matters for private companies.
Samson Lee
Independent Director
An independent director, Mr. Lee brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning technology transformation, publicly traded technology companies, capital markets, regulated financial services, digital assets, strategic partnerships, tokenization and emerging financial infrastructure. His career has included senior executive positions at companies listed on both Nasdaq and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as more than a decade working at the intersection of institutional finance, digital assets and global financial-market innovation.
Niclas von Schantz

As a Strategic Advisor, Mr. von Schantz is expected to support the Company in developing its brand architecture, market positioning, commercialization strategy, and go-to-market approach, with particular emphasis on European market development and on communicating complex technology to non-technical commercial audiences. Mr. von Schantz will serve in a consulting capacity only and will not participate in Board deliberations, corporate governance, or oversight functions.

Mr. Rossa brings decades of executive leadership, business development, contract negotiation and commercial management experience and will lead the Company’s global commercial strategy, including customer development, strategic partnerships, government and institutional relationships, and commercialization of American Fusion™’s planned Power-as-a-Service (PaaS) business model.

Dr. Duncan’s experience spans fundamental physics research, national laboratory leadership, intellectual property development, technology commercialization, and federal scientific advisory roles. Michael Carlson
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Carlson brings extensive governance experience, including service on boards and supervisory bodies, and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the American International School of Budapest. As CFO, Mr. Carlson will lead the Company’s financial strategy, capital markets initiatives, financial reporting, and institutional engagement as it advances its development and commercialization efforts.
Fabrice David

An independent researcher, inventor, and advisor with more than 20 years of experience in fusion science, advanced nuclear phenomena, and next-generation power technologies. Mr. David is the author of over 130 publications and holds multiple patents, contributing deep technical expertise and an independent scientific perspective to the Board.
Andrew Mikulski
Independent Director
A Product Manager at KEMET Electronics (a Yageo company), Mr. Mikulski leads electromagnetic component programs across the Americas. He previously served as an Electrical Engineer at Textron Systems, where he focused on electrical testing and integration for advanced defense technologies.
Samuel Reid
Advisor
Mr. Reid will serve as Government Strategy and Procurement Advisor to the Company. Mr. Reid brings experience across government contracting, defense procurement, and international agency engagement, including active work with NATO-affiliated procurement bodies and the Canadian Department of National Defence.
Dewight Cartwright
Chief Operating Officer
Since joining Kepler Fusion™ Technologies in 2018, Mr. Cartwright has spearheaded the operational execution of the Texatron™ aneutronic fusion reactor. His extensive portfolio includes managing critical projects for the U.S. Army, the Army Corps of Engineers, and various major municipal water authorities.
Travis Yakimishyn
Chief Electrical & Power Systems Officer
Mr. Yakimishyn currently holds senior leadership responsibilities within BC Hydro, one of North America’s largest regulated electric utilities, where he manages province-wide transmission and distribution programs totaling approximately $20 million annually. He played a central role in defining and advancing the electrical power system architecture for the Texatron™ platform.
